GEUS conducts research and consultancy in connection with deep and shallow geothermal energy, as well as groundwater cooling and energy storage.

Based on more than 40 years of experience within research and monitoring of Greenland’s water resources, GEUS supplies the latest data and knowledge about Greenland’s hydropower potential

GEUS contributes to the marine-physical planning by supplying the geological basic data required to describe the sediments of the seabed. We also describe marine activities and quantify the effects on the marine environment. 

GEUS supports a stable energy supply from oil and gas in Denmark and Greenland,, as long as it is needed.
